InNature completes acquisition of The Body Shop Singapore


KUALA LUMPUR: Innature Bhd, the franshisee and operator of The Body Shop in Malaysia, has completed its proposed acquisition of the entire shareholding of The Body Shop Singapore Pte Ltd.

Following the completion of the deal at a purchase consideration ofS$2.96mil (RM9.49mil) on Nov 7, 2025, ownership of The Body Shop Singapore has changed hands from The Body Shop International Ltd to InNature.

"This acquisition represents a natural extension of our existing operations and reinforces our commitment to The Body Shop brand and its values across the region.

"We look forward to leveraging our expertise to enhance the customer experience and drive sustainable growth in Singapore," said InNature managing director Datin Mina Cheah-Foong.

The Body Shop International chairman and CEO Mike Jatania said the sale will unlock opportunities to create a platform for sustainable and profitable growth for the market. 

According to InNature's website, it operates 72 The Body Shop outlets in Malaysia, 30 in Vietnam and three in Cambodia.

It also owns one restaurant, Burger & Lobster, in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, The Body Shop Singapore's website lists 27 stores in the country.
