KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission (SC) has announced six companies selected for the maiden Malaysian Asean Business Entity (MyABE) cohort initiative.

The SC said in a statement that the MyABE-status comprises two categories, MyABE-PLC for public listed companies with established regional operations and MyABE-MTC for mid-tier companies that demonstrate strong potential for further growth across Asean.

The three MyABE-public listed companies selected are CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, IHH Healthcare Bhd and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd.

The companies selected under MyABE-mid-tier companies are Aonic Sdn Bhd, MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd and NSW Automation Sdn Bhd.
