Ho Hup faces trading suspension risk

PETALING JAYA: Ho Hup Construction Company Bhd is facing the risk of a trading suspension after failing to submit its annual report for the financial year ended June 30, 2025, within the stipulated timeframe to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd.

Bursa Malaysia said the construction engineering firm did not release its Annual Report 2025, which includes the audited financial statements together with the auditors’ and directors’ reports, by the deadline of Oct 31, 2025, as required under Paragraph 9.23(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements (LR).

Under Paragraph 9.28(5) of the LR, Bursa Malaysia will suspend trading in a listed issuer’s securities if the outstanding financial statements are not submitted within five market days after the deadline.

The suspension will take effect from 9 am on Nov 10, 2025, if Ho Hup fails to issue the outstanding Annual Report 2025 by Nov 7, 2025.
