Mara aims to list three bumiputra firms

Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Rubiah Wang

KUALA LUMPUR: Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) aims to have three bumiputra companies listed on Bursa Malaysia next year, says Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Rubiah Wang.

She said this was in line with the Bumiputra Economic Transformation Plan 2035 (PuTERA35) initiative, which, among other things, seeks to identify and strengthen high-potential bumiputra companies for market expansion and to enhance competitiveness at the global level.

“We sealed it in PuTERA 35, where our target is also to increase the number of our entrepreneurs listed on Bursa Malaysia, and that is included in the Mara Strategic Plan 2026 to 2030.” — Bernama
