UUE Holdings in RM27mil cable job win


PETALING JAYA: UUE Holdings Bhd has secured a contract worth RM26.7mil from Sutera Utama Sdn Bhd for the installation, testing and commissioning of 11kV aluminium XLPE underground cables and accessories.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, UUE said it had secured the contract through its wholly owned subsidiary, Kum Fatt Engineering Sdn Bhd.

The contract period is for two years with an option to extend by another year, subject to satisfactory performance.

The company said the new job win is expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share and net assets per share of UUE and its group of companies over the duration of the contract.
