Dufu Technology returns to the black in 3Q25

PETALING JAYA: Dufu Technology Corp Bhd returned to the black in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 (3Q25), reporting net profit of RM10.5mil from a loss of RM3.2mil in 3Q24.

The precision machining parts and components manufacturer, which registered a profit before tax of RM11.9mil from a loss of RM4.9mil in 3Q24, said the turnaround was primarily driven by a lower foreign exchange loss of RM1mil in the current quarter, compared to a loss of RM16.4mil in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company posted an 8.3% increase in revenue to RM71.4mil compared to 3Q24 mainly due to an increase in sales of hard disk drive components.

Year-to-date, net profit surged 110.1% to RM20.3mil compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The company said profitability was driven primarily by higher revenue and a reduction in foreign exchange losses, with RM6mil recorded in the current period compared to RM12.5mil in the corresponding period of the previous year.
