Avillion appoints Yeo Tek Ling as CEO/MD


KUALA LUMPUR: Avillion Bhd has appointed Yeo Tek Ling, 66, as its new chief executive officer/managing director, effective Oct 28, 2025.

Yeo is a chartered accountant and chartered management accountant with more than 40 years of experience spanning accounting and finance, corporate governance, strategic management, supply chain operations, and quality management systems.

He began his career in 1981 as an assistant accountant at Associated Pan Malaysia Cement Sdn Bhd, before joining Advanced Packaging Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (APT) in 1985 as an accountant.

Over the next three decades, he rose through the ranks to become finance and administration manager, corporate planner, and later served as finance director (1996–2019) and managing director (2020–2021) before retiring in 2021 after 36 years with the company.

Yeo has also held leadership roles in professional bodies, including the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and was formerly a member of the International Federation of Accountants’ Professional Accountants in Business Committee in New York.
