MGB secures RM118.5mil contract for affordable housing project in KL


KUALA LUMPUR: MGB Bhd has secured a RM118.5mil construction contract from Uda Accord Development Sdn Bhd for the second phase of an affordable housing project in Jalan Jubilee, Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MGB said its wholly-owned subsidiary, MGB Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of award on Oct 27, 2025 for the Residensi Wilayah Phase 2 development.

The project comprises a 45-storey residential tower with 702 units, a seven-storey podium car park, an amenities floor, and a guardhouse.

Work is scheduled to begin on Nov 13, 2025, with a 30-month completion period ending May 12, 2028.
