KUALA LUMPUR: Steel Hawk Bhd
’s wholly-owned subsidiary Steel Hawk Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured eight contracts worth a total of RM60.97mil from Sega Elektrik Sdn Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the engineering company said the contracts were awarded on Oct 23.
Sega Elektrik had appointed Steel Hawk Engineering as a subcontractor for the installation, testing and commissioning of 415 volts and below for underground cables, overhead systems, jointing and termination, as well as related accessories for Tenaga Nasional Bhd
’s asset development distribution network division.
It said the contracts, which collectively run for one year from Oct 23 to Oct 22, 2026, also include an option for a one-year extension.
“The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025, and will not affect the share capital and shareholding structure of the company,” it said. — Bernama
