HANOI: As Vietnam intensifies its climate action and green-growth goals, the banking sector is taking a decisive step to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into financial operations.

The International Finance Corp (IFC), in partnership with the Vietnam Banks Association, convened a high-level roundtable on “Third-Party ESG Data Services” on Oct 21, highlighting the growing importance of reliable ESG data and independent verification in shaping the nation’s sustainable finance landscape.
