CBH Engineering acquires land in Klang for RM14mil

PETALING JAYA: CBH Engineering Holding Bhd (CBHB) is acquiring a piece of freehold land in Klang, Selangor, measuring 3,866 sq metres from Syskon Corp Sdn Bhd for RM14.39mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the electrical engineering service provider said the land consists of a single-storey factory annexed with a double-storey office building.

“The proposed acquisition provides sufficient capacity and flexibility to accommodate future growth, including new projects, workforce expansion, or diversification of operations and allows consolidation of operations currently spread across multiple rented sites, improving efficiency and reducing duplication of costs.

“In addition, the acquisition reduces reliance on rental premises and mitigates exposure to escalating rental costs as well as provides long-term cost stability and potential capital appreciation of the property.”

CBHB said the acquisition is expected to be funded via a combination of bank borrowings and / or internally generated funds.

“The proposed acquisition is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the group,” it said.
