Citaglobal inks Bio-CNG deal with Keppel

PETALING JAYA: Citaglobal Bhd has entered into a joint development agreement (JDA) with Singapore-based Keppel Sustainability Solutions Pte Ltd to collaborate on bio-compressed natural gas (Bio-CNG) upgrading facility projects in the states of Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu.

Citaglobal is involved in civil engineering and construction, oil and gas, utilities, and manufacturing. In a filing, it said the JDA positions the Citaglobal Group to participate in the Bio-CNG sector.

The project is expected to generate stable and recurring income streams for the group, while complementing the development of its 247-acre Citaglobal Bioenergy & Green Eco Park, an industrial development that integrates green technologies and sustainable features within the Gebeng Industrial Estate in Pahang.

The park has excellent access to key infrastructure, including ports, highways, and the upcoming East Coast Rail Link.
