PETALING JAYA: Budget 2026 is set to maintain a gradual fiscal consolidation path, a move that CGS International (CGSI) Research believes will carry positive implications for the stock market.

The research house has kept its year-end FBM KLCI target at 1,690 points, based on 14.9 times mid-2026 earnings.
