Techna-X to dispose of Caseria Pasifika for RM4.5mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Techna-X Bhd (TXB) has proposed to dispose of its entire 100% equity interest in Caseria Pasifika Sdn Bhd (CPSB), which is held through its wholly owned subsidiary Craveat International Sdn Bhd, for RM4.5mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, TXB said its wholly owned subsidiary Craveat International Sdn Bhd entered into a sale and purchase agreement on Sept 18, 2025, with Debut Supreme Capital Sdn Bhd for the disposal.

Upon completion, CPSB will cease to be a wholly owned subsidiary of Craveat International and, in turn, a sub-subsidiary of TXB.

TXB said CPSB was acquired on April 3, 2019, at an investment cost of RM8.0mil.

The disposal price of RM4.5mil was based on Debut Supreme Capital’s evaluation of the future potential of TGIF restaurants in Malaysia.

“The disposal presents an opportunity for TXB to exit from the loss-making and debt-laden company in order to focus on businesses and ventures which are viable and profitable in the mid to long term,” TXB said.
