Experts call for action on institutional hurdles

HANOI: Vietnam must stay the course on industrialisation to meet its ambitious economic goals, say experts gathered at the forum on Industrial Manufacturing 2025.

Economists and industry insiders emphasised that while Vietnam has long aimed to become a modern industrial nation, a target first set after Doi Moi and reaffirmed at the 8th National Party Congress in 2020, the country still falls short of key industrial benchmarks in 2025.
