Dayang secures work barge contract

Dayang said the contract is expected to contribute to earnings over the duration of the contract.

PETALING JAYA: Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd has been awarded a work order for the provision of an accommodation work barge from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil and gas company said the value of the contract is based on work orders issued by PCSB throughout the contract duration, which is approximately 130 days.

“The contract will commence on the vessel’s on-hire certificate date with an option to extend up to 60 days.”

Dayang said the contract will have no effect on its issued capital and is expected to contribute to earnings over the duration of the contract.

It added that the acceptance of the contract is in the best interest of the company.
