TechStore wins RM8mil Customs job


PETALING JAYA: TechStore Bhd has accepted a letter of award from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department for the provision of leasing and training services for four units of baggage scanner machines and two units of body scanner machines with accessories worth RM7.7mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the enterprise information technology (IT) services provider said the works will be deployed at the Woodlands North Customs, Immigration and Quarantine in Singapore, as part of the Rapid Transit System (RTS) link between Malaysia and Singapore.

Managing director Tan Hock Lim said the RTS link represents a significant advancement in cross-border transportation infrastructure connecting Malaysia and Singapore.

“The award reflects the government’s trust in our capabilities to deliver reliable enterprise IT systems.”
