Jati Tinggi bags RM32mil cable laying job


PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd has accepted a letter of award (LOA) from Pintar Gembira Sdn Bhd to perform sub-contract works to lay 11 kilovolts of underground cables for asset development in Selangor worth RM31.58mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the electrical installation service company said the scope of works would include the installation, testing and commissioning of cables and accessories.

“The contract period is 20 months from the commencement date which shall be determined later.”

Jati Tinggi said the LOA is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the company over the duration of the contract.

“The LOA will not have any effect on the share capital and the shareholdings of the substantial shareholders of the company.”
