Rhone Ma unit secures RM15.64mil contract for milk processing line


PETALING JAYA: Rhone Ma Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Link Ingredients Sdn Bhd (LISB) had accepted a RM15.64mil contract from Jemaluang Dairy Valley Sdn Bhd to supply, fabricate, install and commission a milk processing line.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the project is for a 4,000 liters per hour fresh milk and recombined milk processing line at the Jemaluang Dairy Valley Complex in Mersing, Johor. 

Jemaluang Dairy Valley Sdn Bhd is a joint venture company between A2 Fresh Holdings Sdn Bhd and Kulim (Malaysia) Bhd. A2 Fresh Holdings is a 49%-owned subsidiary of Rhone Ma. 

The contract is set to commence from the date of the agreement and is expected to be completed within six months following the handover of the factory site to LISB, subject to readiness of civil works, infrastructure and utilities. 

Rhone Ma stated the site handover is anticipated to take place in 2026.
