CapitaLand net profit, revenue rise in 2Q25

Maybank IB said CLMT’s management was cautiously optimistic on the outlook for the rest of the year.

PETALING JAYA: Capitaland Malaysia Trust (CLMT) will remain focused on driving value through targeted asset management initiatives while pursuing opportunities to acquire yield-accretive assets.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said income resilience is expected to improve upon the completion of three ongoing industrial and logistics acquisitions in the second half of 2025.

For the second quarter ended June 30, 2025, CLMT’s net profit rose to RM35.07mil from RM33.47mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue grew to RM115.73mil from RM113.65mil a year earlier.

CLMT said the increase in gross revenue was mainly due to higher revenue recorded by most of the properties within its portfolio as a result of positive rental reversions.

For the six-month period ended June 30, 2025, CLMT’s net profit rose to RM72.55mil from RM66.96mil a year earlier, while revenue improved to RM236.11mil from RM225.54mil previously.
