Bursa pares losses after Bank Negara cuts interest rate

KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI pared earlier losses to end almost unchanged on yesterday, declining by only 0.06%, after Bank Negara cut the benchmark interest rate.

The Malaysian central bank’s monetary policy committee has reduced the overnight policy rate (OPR) by 25 basis points to 2.75%.
