WITH higher energy tariffs kicking in this week, there’s much discussion about the viability of data centres (DCs), which consume significant amounts of energy.
According to reports, electricity costs could increase by up to 14%, and at least 10% specifically for DCs, dampening the hopes of those that rushed to set up in Malaysia partly due to cheaper rates.
