Perdana Petroleum said it will provide the vessel with crew and equipment to perform a continuous 24 hour service.

PETALING JAYA: Perdana Petroleum Bhd has accepted a work order award from a petroleum arrangement contractor (PAC) for the provision of one anchor handling tug and supply vessel.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil and gas company said the contract, which will commence on the vessel’s on-hire certificate date, is for a duration of 120 days with an option to extend for another 100 days.

“The estimated contract value shall be in accordance with the award issued. In view of the confidentiality and privacy clauses of the contract, the name of the PAC is not disclosed,” the group said.

Perdana Petroleum said it will provide the vessel with crew and equipment to perform a continuous 24 hour service for the purpose of assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, towing and anchor jobs.

“The award is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Perdana Petroleum group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 (excluding any extension period),” the group said.
