Avaland buys PJ land for RM49mil


PETALING JAYA: Property developer Avaland Bhd is acquiring a parcel of leasehold development land measuring 2.2-acres in Section 13, Petaling Jaya from Comit Communication Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd for RM49mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Avaland said the proposed acquisition represents a strategic step in expanding the group’s presence within the vibrant and thriving township of Petaling Jaya.

“The encouraging response to the group’s earlier development across Klang Valley further reinforces the group’s confidence in this location.

“With its mature township appeal, excellent infrastructure, and proximity to key urban centres, this acquisition aligns with the group’s long-term strategy of delivering high-quality, sought-after developments in prime growth areas across the Klang Valley.”
