Perdana Petroleum wins AHTS provision contract

PETALING JAYA: Perdana Petroleum Bhd (PPB) has accepted a work order award (WOA) from a Petroleum Arrangement Contractor (PAC) for the provision of one anchor handling tug and supply vessel.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil and gas company said the contract, which will commence on the vessel’s on-hire certificate date, is for a duration of 120 days with an option to extend for another 100 days.

“The estimated contract value shall be in accordance with the WOA issued. In view of the confidentiality and privacy clauses of the contract, the name of the PAC is not disclosed.”

Perdana Petroleum said it will provide the vessel with crew and equipment to perform a continuous 24 hour service for the purpose of assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, towing and anchor jobs.

“The WOA is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of PPB group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 (excluding any extension period),” said Perdana Petroleum.
