UUE Holdings bags RM83.4mil contracts, order book hits RM416mil


PETALING JAYA: UUE Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Kum Fatt Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured three new contracts from Sutera Utama Sdn Bhd with a combined value of RM83.4mil.

In a release, the underground utilities engineering solutions provider noted the contracts mark the second batch of major subcontract awards linked to Tenaga Nasional Bhd are related to the installation, testing and commissioning of 11kV and 33kV underground cables and accessories within TNB’s distribution network across the northern and southern regions.

Each contract has a duration of two years from the first issuance of the notice to commence work. The contracts also include a one-year extension option.

The contract wins takes UUE’s current order book to a record high of RM416mil, providing strong earnings visibility for the next two to three years.
