Samaiden unit inks RM108.6mil EPCC contract for LSSPV project


KUALA LUMPUR: Samaiden Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Samaiden Sdn Bhd has entered into a RM108.6mil contract to undertake the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) works in relation to the development of a large scale solar photovoltaic (LSSPV) located in the Central Region of Peninsular Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Samaiden said the customer - which remained unnamed due to a non-disclosure agreement between the parties - is principally engaged in the operation of generation facilities that produce electric energy.

Under the terms of the contract, Samaiden will undertake the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the solar power plant with the established capacity of 29.99MWac.
