Singapore's Changi Airport starts building fifth terminal after pandemic pause


SINGAPORE: Singapore's Changi Airport on Wednesday started construction of a fifth terminal, as the world's fourth-busiest airport by international passengers expands to capitalise on growing air travel in Asia after the pandemic.

The airport will also integrate a third runway, which is currently used by the military, by 2030.
