Equinix plans expansion of its DC segment


PETALING JAYA: Equinix Inc is eyeing the expansion of its data centre (DC) facility in Malaysia following the completion of its KL1 International Business Exchange to meet the accelerating demand for digital infrastructure across the country.

Equinix Malaysia, Asia-Pacific managing director Cheam Tat Inn said the company is in the early planning stages for its next DC, dubbed KL2, after having officially completed the second phase of the KL1 DC in Cyberjaya.
