MSM appoints Ab Aziz Ismail as new CFO


KUALA LUMPUR: Ab Aziz Ismail has been appointed MSM Malaysia Holdings Bhd's new chief financial officer (CFO) with effect from April 1, 2025. 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, MSM Malaysia said prior to the appointment, Ab Aziz, 58, was a "sector accountant” for oil and fats for FGV Holdings Bhd between December 2022 and March 2025. He had also been a CFO for MSM Malaysia between June 2019  and November 2022. 

MSM Malaysia is a 51 per cent-owned unit of FGV Holdings.

In a separate filing, the sugar refiner also announced that Nur Izwan Mohd Nawawi will cease as the officer-in-charge effective March 31, 2025 with the appointment of Ab Aziz as CFO. Nur Izwan took the role of officer-in-charge on Aug 12, 2024, after the resignation of Mazatul ‘Aini Shahar Abdul Malek Shahar. - Bernama
