Cape EMS ties up with Taiwanese aerospace giant AIDC

PETALING JAYA: Cape EMS Bhd has tied up with Taiwanese aerospace giant, Aerospace Industrial Development Corp (AIDC) to collaborate in the areas of renewable energy, aerospace parts manufacturing and life-science technology.

In a statement, Cape EMS, an electronic manufacturing services provider, said the partnership will harness the parties’ combined expertise to drive innovation and unlock new business opportunities.

“In renewable energy, the focus will be on next-generation microgrid solutions, including “power islands”, which are self-sustaining energy systems designed to provide reliable, clean electricity to remote and underserved communities across South-East Asia.

“This collaboration will also drive the expansion of aircraft parts production to meet the growing global demand for components. With AIDC already working with top-tier manufacturers such as Airbus, Boeing, and Bombardier, the partnership will further strengthen both companies’ positions in the aviation supply chain.”

Additionally, the partnership will advance sub-micron precision manufacturing to produce essential components for medical and scientific applications, contributing to new innovations in healthcare and research.
