Takaful Ikhlas General announces record surplus distribution of RM6.3mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Takaful Ikhlas General Bhd, a subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Bhd, has announced a record-breaking surplus distribution of RM6.3mil to about 1.1 million eligible participants.

It said in a statement the surplus distribution for the financial year ended March 31, 2024, was generated from the company's Participants' Risk Fund (PRF).

"This achievement underscores our commitment to financial resilience and responsible risk management. More importantly, it enables us to give back to our valued participants, who have placed their trust in us. Their continued support motivates us to continuously enhance our services, ensuring they receive reliable and accessible protection," said MNRB interim president and group CEO Datuk Rudy Rodzila Che Lamin.

The surplus distribution reaffirms Takaful Ikhlas General’s commitment to ethical and responsible business practices, in line with the core values of the takaful model, which is based on mutual cooperation and shared financial responsibility, he added.
