MN Holdings wins RM168.9mil substation contract


KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Mutu Nusantara Sdn Bhd (MNSB), has secured a RM168.9mil contract to design and build a 275/33kV substation in the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the infrastructure utilities construction and engineering solutions specialist said it could not disclose the customer’s identity due to a non-disclosure agreement.

The contract covers the engineering, procurement, and construction of a 275/33kV substation in the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

The project is scheduled to commence in March 2025 and is expected to be completed by March 2026.

"This award represents a significant step for MN Holdings as we secure our first project with an US-based international data centre operator. It reflects the confidence of global players in our capabilities and underscores our commitment to delivering reliable power infrastructure solutions,” managing director Datuk Clement Toh said in a separate statement.

With this latest contract win, MN Holdings’ order book now stands at RM892.4mil, reinforcing its growth trajectory in the infrastructure and utilities segment.
