Al-Salam-REIT in RM10mil property sale

PETALING JAYA: Al-Salam Real Estate Investment Trust (Al-Salam-REIT) is disposing of two shop office buildings in Bandar Sunway, Selangor, to Lagi Tegas Sdn Bhd for RM10mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Al-Salam-REIT said it is disposing of a four-storey intermediate terraced shop office building as well as a four-storey corner terraced shop office building.

“The proposed disposal will enable Al-Salam-REIT to realise its investment in the properties,” it said.

Al-Salam-REIT added that the proposed disposal is not expected to have any immediate material effect on its net asset value (NAV), NAV per unit and gearing. The proposed disposal will have no material impact on the earnings of Al-Salam-REIT for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025.
