Bursa Malaysia sees steep decline as China weighs on region


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia joined a regional selloff, with the market benchmark falling over 1% in morning trade, as Chinese investment restrictions announced by US President Donald Trump weighed on sentiment.

At the lunch break, the FBM KLCI had dropped 17.08 points to 1,567.17, marking its lowest level in three weeks.
