FBM KLCI sinks deeper into the red at midday


KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI extended its losses by midday, sinking deeper as broad-based selling pressure weighed on the market, with investor sentiment remaining cautious amid uncertainty about U.S. tariff measures.

At 12.30 pm, the benchmark index was down 5.97 points, or 0.38%, at an intra-morning low of 1,574.91.
