Keyfield wins contracts worth RM60mil


PETALING JAYA: Keyfield International Bhd (KIB) had entered into two separate contracts worth a combined RM59.6mil for the respective chartering of one anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) and one Dynamic Positioning 2 accommodation workboat (DP2AWB), through its full subsidiary Keyfield Offshore Sdn Bhd.

The group said the charter of the AHTS is expected to commence in the first week of April 2025, for a duration of 720 days, with an option to extend for another 180 days, for the vessel to be deployed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It said the charterer is an offshore marine service provider in the UAE.

Meanwhile, KIB revealed that the charter of the DP2AWB is expected to commence in the middle of this month, for a firm duration of 150 days, with an option to extend for another 120 days, for the vessel to be deployed in Malaysia. It said the charterer is a commercial diving and remote operated vehicle service provider in Malaysia.
