Malaysia's PPI rises 0.5% year-on-year in December 2024


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's Producer Price Index (PPI) rose marginally by 0.5 per cent year-on-year in December 2024, compared to a 0.4 per cent decline in the previous month, according to the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM).

In a statement today, DOSM attributed the increase to mixed performances across key sectors, with notable growth in the agriculture, forestry, and fishing sectors.
