AME-REIT 3Q earnings at RM9mil

PETALING JAYA: AME Real Estate Investment Trust (AME-REIT) is optimistic of achieving a favourable performance for the financial year ending March 31, 2025, given that its industrial and industrial-related properties portfolio is enjoying a 100% occupancy rate.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said its net profit for the third quarter ended Dec 31, 2024 dipped to RM9.2mil from RM9.95mil in the previous corresponding quarter.

AME-REIT said its lower income before tax and net income for the period were mainly due to the fair value gain on investment properties recognised during the corresponding quarter, while none was recognised during the current quarter under review.
