PETALING JAYA: TDM Bhd
is engaging Tawau Healthcare Sdn Bhd (THSB) in a RM72mil contract to build, construct and undertake renovation works for a new specialist hospital building in Tawau, Sabah.
Upon completion of the project, THSB will grant a sub-lease of the new land together with the hospital building to TDM through its unit KMI Tawau Medical Centre Sdn Bhd (KMITMC).
The RM72mil is its gross development cost (GDC) which comprised costs related to the project, of which included construction works, installation of major equipment and facility system to the buildings including the salaries of employees involved with the project, it said.The arrangement will see KMITMC paying a monthly rent representing 7% per annum of the GDC or the revised GDC to THSB for the initial new sub-lease term, it said in a statement.
