UUE gets 2 contract renewals totalling RM28mil


PETALING JAYA: UUE Holdings Bhd has executed two contract renewals with Sutera Utama Sdn Bhd for the installation, testing and commissioning of underground cables and accessories totaling RM27.57mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, UUE said the first contract (East Zone) is for the installation, testing and commissioning of 11 kilovolts (kV) of aluminium XLPE underground cables and accessories (for asset development all zones, distribution network division, Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) – Mainhead A: East Zone 11kV) and has a contract renewal sum worth RM13.03mil.

The second contract (south zone) is for the iInstallation, testing and commissioning of 11kV of aluminium XLPE underground cables and accessories for asset development all zones, distribution network division, TNB - Mainhead E: South Zone 11KV) and has a contract renewal sum worth RM14.54mil.

“The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of UUE and its group of companies over the duration of the contracts. The contracts will not have any effect on the share capital, gearing and shareholding structure of the group.”
