U Mobile likely to collaborate to defray 5G capex estimated at RM3bil-RM4bil - RHB Investment Bank


KUALA LUMPUR: U Mobile Sdn Bhd is likely to enter into network collaborations to defray 5G capital expenditure (capex) estimated at RM3 billion-RM4 billion following its selection as the second 5G network access provider, said RHB Investment Bank Bhd.

It said in a research note today that the sharing of network infrastructure would expedite site deployments, allowing population coverage targets to be met more swiftly.
