AmBank to provide RM499mil funding for PTT Synergy hub project

PETALING JAYA: AmBank Group will provide RM498.6mil in project funding to PTT Synergy Group Bhd for its PTT Semicon Logistics Hub project in Penang.

PTT Synergy pointed out that the semiconductor logistics hub is tailored for a multinational corporation (MNC) semiconductor manufacturer based in Penang.

The facility will have a gross built-up area of 417,000 sq ft and a capacity of 47,320 palletise positions upon completion.

“This project is poised to significantly enhance the operational efficiency of the MNC and support Penang’s burgeoning semiconductor industry.

“The facility will be equipped with cutting-edge automated solutions, including an automated storage and retrieval system robotics, and advanced inventory management systems, positioning PTT at the forefront of innovation in the industrial property sector,” the innovative industrial solutions provider said in a statement.
