KUALA LUMPUR: Feytech Holdings Bhd has entered into a joint venture with China's Wuhu Ruitai Auto Parts Co Ltd to design, manufacture and assemble any components relating to automotive seats for supply in Malaysia or overseas.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Feytech noted that as Ruitai is one of its technical partners, a joint venture would enhance and strengthen the relationship to enable both parties to leverage each other's strengths.
"The JV provides an opportunity for the JV Co to supply complete knock down automotive components and/or parts relating to automotive seats, which are used in any vehicles manufactured by Chery Automobile Co Ltd to Ruitai’s affiliates and Ruitai’s designated entity within Malaysia or overseas," it added.
