KKB Engineering secures RM93mil contracts and purchase order


KUALA LUMPUR: KKB Engineering Bhd has secured two contracts and one purchase order, totalling a combined value of RM93mil.

KKB Engineering, in a filing with Bursa Malaysia, announced receiving a letter of award (LoA) from Petroleum Sarawak Bhd (PETROS) to recondition, requalify, and repaint liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders.

It received a second LoA from Bina Puri Builder Sdn Bhd (BP) for the second phase of the proposed Serian regional water supply.

In addition, KKB also received a purchase order from Greenchain Capital Sdn Bhd (GCSB) to supply mild steel cement lined (MSCL) pipes and specials.

The Petroas term contract is valid until the third quarter of 2027. The BP subcontract is expected to be completed within 24 months and the completion date for GCSB purchase order is scheduled to be delivered within 12 months.

KKB Engineering said the contracts are expected to contribute positively to group earnings and net assets.
