TCS secures RM86.38mil construction contract from Sime Darby Property

KUALA LUMPUR: TCS Group Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary TCS Construction Sdn Bhd has bagged a RM86.38mil contract from Sime Darby Property Bhd for the construction of 60 units of two-storey semi-detached factories in Elmina Business Park, Selangor.

It said in a statement, the contract is for a period of 24 months, commencing December 2024 and is expected to be completed by December 2026.

TCS managing director Datuk Tee Chai Seng said the new job further supports the group's growth momentum, providing strong earnings visibility for the next two to three years.

"On the industry front, we are seeing positive market conditions with stable material costs and a rise in both public and private sector projects.

"This favourable environment points to sustained growth in the construction industry, and TCS is well-positioned to take advantage of these opportunities," he added.
