KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch on Thursday include Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd, Tropicana Corp Bhd, LBS Bina Group Bhd, Key Asic Bhd, Guan Chong Bhd and Skyworld Development Bhd.

Kumpulan Kitacon has secured a RM64.05mil contract to undertake main building works for a proposed double-storey house in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Tropicana has inked an agreement to dispose of 38.527 acres of freehold land in Johor to a data centre company for RM239.99mil.

LBS Bina has awarded Solarvest Holdings Bhd a contract to build a 43-MWp solar farm in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan, valued at RM104mil.

Key Asic has signed a collaboration agreement with NSW Inc, one of Japan's largest system solution developers, to develop the Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design business.

Guan Chong aims to expand its footprint into Ivory Coast with a 25% stake in Transcao Côte d’Ivoire, a cocoa processing company.

Skyworld's wholly-owned subsidiary, Aspirasi Cekap Sdn Bhd, has entered into a joint development agreement with PR1MA Corporation Malaysia to build affordable homes.

Overnight, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 431.63 points, or 1.03%, to 42,512.00. The S&P 500 gained 40.91 points, or 0.71%, at 5,792.04 and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 108.70 points, or 0.60%, to 18,291.62.
