KUALA LUMPUR: Heitech Padu Bhd, which received an unusual market activity (UMA) query from Bursa Malaysia, said it is unaware of any reason for the sharp rise in its share price and trading volume recently.
“We are not aware of any corporate development relating to the Group’s business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the trading activity including those in the stage of negotiation or discussion,” HeiTech Padu said in a reply to the UMA query.
“We are not aware of any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the group that may account for the trading activity.
“We are not aware of any possible explanation to account for the trading activity,” it said.
Heitech rose 12.33%, or 45 sen, to RM4.10, its all-time high, with 5.45 million shares traded on Friday. The counter has risen a remarkable 360% so far this year.
