Econpile wins RM33mil KL piling contracts


PETALING JAYA: Econpile Holdings Bhd has bagged two contracts worth a total of RM33.3mil to carry out piling and sub-structure works for new buildings in Kuala Lumpur.

The first contract from Sg Besi Construction Sdn Bhd appointed Econpile’s unit, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, as the subcontractor for a 51-storey service apartment in Lorong Raja Uda 2.

The contract worth RM21.3mil is undertaken on behalf of Lofthill Development Sdn Bhd.

The second contract worth RM12mil, meanwhile, involves piling and sub-structure works for a 59-storey office tower in Jalan Mayang.

The contract was also awarded by Sg Besi Construction, with the project undertaken on behalf of Armani Development Sdn Bhd.

The Jalan Mayang project will be completed within 12 months from the date of commencement to be notified at a later date.
