Econpile unit bags two contracts worth a combined RM33.3mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Econpile Holdings Bhd has via its wholly-owned subsidiary Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd secured two contracts valued at a combined RM33.3mil from Sg Besi Construction Sdn Bhd for piling and substructure works.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the first contract is related to a proposed block of 51-storey service apartments comprising 653 units in Lorong Raja Uda 2, Kuala Lumpur for Lofthill Development Sdn Bhd worth RM21.3mil.

It said the project shall be completed within 10 months from Oct 2, 2024.

The second contract is for a proposed block of 59-storey strata offices comprising 350 units in Jalan Mayang, Kuala Lumpur, for Armani Development Sdn Bhd valued at RM12mil.

The project is scheduled to be completed within 12 months from the date of commencement, which will be notified at a later date.

Econpile said the projects are expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the Company from the financial year ending 30 June 2025 onwards.
